Here is a great way to make homemade guacamole. It doesn't have mayonnaise in it like most and it calls for orange juice instead of lemon juice which makes it extra yummy. Avocados are a good source of protein and healthy omega fat too. This recipe makes a generous portion for two people.
-one avocado
-1/2 orange
-cilantro
-purple onions
-small tomato
-poblano peppers(optional)
-dash salt
Cut open avocado and scoop it out into a bowl, add chopped tomato, about 2 Tblsp chopped onions, 2 Tblsp chopped cilantro and salt. Squeeze half an orange over the ingredients and mix together.
